Shannon earned her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Boston University School of Public Health in 2023 and her Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in Cognitive Science, from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2017. With over eight years of experience in clinical research and data management, Shannon has led and contributed to large-scale pulmonary genetics studies at Boston Children’s Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Her research interests include cognitive science, neurobiology, neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders. Shannon currently works on a large, multi-site autism research study through the Translational Neuroscience Center (TNC). In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new cafés with friends, going to the gym, traveling, and cooking.
